A top-down twin-stick roguelite about descending eight floors — and never surviving the same way twice.

Every run starts in the same quiet town and ends somewhere in the dark. Pick a hero,load four abilities into your hands, and push down through eight biomes where the rooms, the enemies and the loot are rebuilt every time. Die, spend what you carried back, and go again a little stronger.

Bring a friend. The whole thing plays in couch co-op.

# Features

- Eight distinct floors, procedurally rebuilt every run.

Dawn Meadows, Umbral Forest, Broken Caverns, Ashen Lands, Citadel of Chaos, Frozen Crypt, Fortress in Ruins, and the Commander's Throne. Each one closes with a boss that telegraphs before it hits.

- 91 abilities — 52 spells and 39 ultimates. 

Four slots are yours to fill: Q, E, right click, and your ultimate. You choose the loadout in the spell book back home.

- Five heroes.

Knight, Barbarian, Rogue, Archer and Sorceress, each with their own opening kit and passive.

- Two-player local co-op on one screen. 

Player two joins with the Start button in town, keeps their own save profile and loadout, and the difficulty scales the moment they arrive.

- 34 talismans and a deck of level-up cards that stack into builds you didn't plan for.

- Progression that outlives you.

Essence buys permanent upgrades, new heroes, spells from the Arcanist and the slots to put them in.

49 achievements open up more.

- A town, not a menu.

 Shops, a wardrobe, a mentor, a day/night cycle, and portals that
cut across the map once you've earned them.

- Locked rooms, keys, spike and saw traps, breakables, shrines and platforming stretches you cross on your dash.

#Controls

Keyboard and mouse or gamepad — both fully remappable in Options.

Gamepad aims with the right stick and includes aim assist you can turn off.

# Notes

Windows, mouse and keyboard recomended (for now). This is an early build — feedback is genuinely useful,

especially on difficulty pacing and anything that feels unfair rather than hard.

The price is just for getting some money to pay the Steam Page and the artist to make me the capsules. If you buy the game you make a big contribution to the growth of the game, it will release as a Early Access game on Steam and i will 100% dedicate my life to further update and add features to it! Be pacient, i'm only a 1 person team, but i'm super proud of Ashbound, so try it out! It's super worth it and it will not dissapoint you!

#Hints

Try and buy as much Upgrades from Master Aldric with the collected Essence to further help you in your future runs!

Also try and find the best Stats to grab on your Level Ups! (Some are better than others, like in every RPG's or Roguelikes/lites in existance).

Achivevements unlocks new Spells to buy from Iris in Town.
